Being natural is like a chain effect, for some individuals sisterlocks, braidlocks, traditional locks, freeform or any type of locks stems from being natural for so long. Like myself, I was just ready to transition to the next level of hair freedom.

Chain Effect
Sisterlocks is becoming a must have in B-more. I was so surprised to see so many natural sistahs working at my day job. Now so many of them have decided to lock. I am so happy for them. Many did not know I had sisterlocks... I like the way they look different on everyone. So ladies I am here for advice and keep checking my blog.

When I went there, I was amazed: everywhere i turned there was either a fro or locks...it is very refreshing and beautiful:)

I've been hearing a lot about B-more too from a formerly locked sistah as well. She is sporting an afro here in Cali, but she has tempted me to travel east with all her stories about the popularity of locks there...
It is nice to see more natural heads. Just last week, s coworker came to work with her brand new sisterlocks. It was great.

lots of ladies at my church and work are locked. I think that folk are starting to realize that perms are not the end all be all answer. With so many sistas wearing their hair natural, I think it inspires people and once you are natural for so many years, the progression just seems to be to loc. At least that's what it was for me. I had run out of things to do. Your hair looks great as usual.

Natural hair is contagious. Isn't it amazing? In Atlanta, I think a fourth to 1/3 of all curly haired women of color are all natural. Keep being the beautiful inspiration you are!
Looking free is a desire for most women. If your smiling and living it makes others think why not. It's a wonderful thing.

B-More? Did I hear you say B-More? FINALLY!!!!! I have been stalking, yes I said stalking the blogs hoping to find someone close by who can give me the low down on the sisterlocks, who is a consultant I can trust, simply where is a place that doesn't view my natural hair as their perm project. You've more than made my day. So please please please tell where you got your hair locked, where you get it maintained etc etc.... I live in Columbia but work in DC.

Love love love your hair and want want want the name of your consultant. I live in Columbia, MD and have been going nuts trying to find someone, anyone who will work with my thick, kinky nautural hair...everyone just wants to throw in a perm saying how pretty it would be. Pretty but so so so darn restrictive and the damage after a while is maddening. The pictures of your hair are great....the styles I will definitely be... borrowing once I get there if ever I get there...:-)
