Heatherette

Well I could not resist. I heard so much hype about the Heatherette so I had to see for myself. Granted that I could choose similar colors from the MAC counter, but for $32.00, not too bad. I purchased trio #1. I did not use a base so to bring out the color "mood ring". I added a little bit of the L'Oreal Hip color from the "Flashy" duo. The compact is cute, and I can always trade out the colors in it. I think this would go good for an all white event.

There is definitely too much hype surrounding this new collection. The guy at the counter asked me if I was going to attend the fashion show next weekend. "Fashion Show"?? With a puzzled look on my face. Apparently they are going to have a fashion show and do make overs to preveiw the collection. A little way over the top for me.

Hello Lakia. Thank you for visiting my blog. I also find that there is way too much hype about heatherette. I wasn't impressed but when items started flying off the shelves especially online, I paid more attention to the videos and swatches online and got me style minx. The eye make up looks so pretty on you. You're ready for the spring! What did you use on your lips? very pretty.

Yeah they did hyped heatherette up but that is how to sell it. I thought that most of the colors were to bright and hard to make sheer when applying. Buying make-up is a girl thing :-).

Thanks Nywele, I am wearing Mac's Lust lipglass.

Sez, I got to admit I am a girly girl, I get so excited over lipgloss that it is ridiculous.

You look so good in all your pictures...I wish I could apply makeup like that....Just like Sez says that's for girls!!! Sometimes I wish I was girly girl just so I could feel like wearing makeup.

Has everyone go their piece of the heatherette collection but me?

Sigh, the life of a college student...

See you are going to make me visit the MAC counter. I have been grounded from the MAC counter because I am a makeup, hair product, and perfume junkie. Yes...the first step is admitting that you have a problem. :)
